Looking through some of the lots and what they have been made today my eyes have been drawn to Apartman a one time winner from three races in the UK.

Walkon – Update

After the Aintree race I believe I posted on here that Walkon had struck into himself and was quite badly cut after the race. Well, as a result of the cut he will not go over fences this season and will stick to hurdles.

Hitchens 310pm York

There is a lot of talk at the moment about Patrick Veitch after the release of his book “Enemy Number 1″ and recent interviews on Channel 4 and Racing UK.

Anyway, Hitchens today catches my eye for a number of reasons. Firstly, he was supplemented for the race today at a signficant cost which connections will be looking to get back. Secondly, and perhaps more interesting, is that at the October Horses in Training Sales the horse was bought for 40k by Stuart Williams and sent to David Barron.
